General Contracting

At Fairbanks General, we represent the traditional bid/negotiated approach with work preformed on a lump sum price or cost plus a fee resulting in a guaranteed maximum price contract.

Construction Management

We supervise, manage and coordinate the work of all subcontractors during construction, making sure that the project gets completed on time and within budget.

Our Construction Management agreements can either be “At-Risk”, with Fairbanks General holding all trade contracts and therefore better able to control and guarantee performance, or “Agency”, where the client holds all trade contracts enabling the construction manager to act freely as the client’s agent.

Advise ownership group on understanding project requirements and developing appropriate project criteria and objectives. Alongside or independently we will attend management, architect, engineering, or construction meetings for the owner. Owners can take advantage of our knowledge and experience in creating construction and engineering solutions to meet the needs of the business.

Professional Services

Fairbanks General operates in an advisory role under a direct line of authority from the client, providing information and presenting alternatives. Our primary goal is to assist the client in performing its role as owner. We advise our clients on all aspects of the project, including day-to-day activities and responsibilities involved through the various phases for the acquisition, planning, financing, site preparation, design and construction of the project.

Our Team

Our principals and team members have participated on certain listed projects in management roles such as Executives in charge, Project Management, Estimating and Supervision while working with Clients and their staff, Architects / Engineers and other General Contractors/Construction Managers preparing feasibility studies, budgeting, scheduling, value engineering and building. These important criterions all lead to one common goal, cost efficiency. We pride ourselves on our client’s satisfaction and in turn, their customer’s satisfaction.
